Korean Beauty Tips from Nine Muses

I really love the flawless skin of koreans. Majority of them are literally poreless, yes even the guys. Phew~ below are random korean beauty tips I found, which I will be trying so soon!

1.) Natural green tea pack whitens skin and reduces acne [Euaerin]

I was browsing youtube for new videos (eherm from kpop idols of course) when I saw Star Beauty Show episode featuring Nine Muses.

For minimum cost and maximum effect, use mixture of:
Yolk + flour + green tea powder = Whitening effect
In 1:1:1 ratio, apply mixture on face, leave for 20 minutes and wash off. Your face will look much whiter. They say it will clean the face and it will give a whitening effect. Natural green tea pack whitens skin and reduces acne.

2.) One cup of water in the morning as soon as you wake up [Eun Ji]
Kicks metabolism and expels waste from body.

3.) Everytime you put on makeup, think the most important is cleansing [Lee Sem] 
Not cleansing properly will trigger pimples or rash. Wash with cleansing oil once or thrice with cleansing foam. Put moisturizing cream when your face is fresh and clean to wake up with nice skin.

4.) On natural bare face, focus on lips! [Hyemi]
Make lips the main point, to bring out the lips use orange or red instead of nude tone. Hot pink can be a burden but still looks pretty if put on normally or if you do the gradation lip it will look even better.

5.) Use shadows to make shades around the eyes, it will look much deeper 
Don't just focus on eye liners, but use shadows to make shades around the eyes. It will feel and look much deeper. Stick shadows can let you draw shadows on which is much easier.

6.) Eyebrow mascara is a must for people with bright hair
Eyebrow mascara gives better color to brows. People who like lighter eyebrows use it.

7.) Blemish concealer key point for transparent makeup
Use concealing pencil to cover spots.

Review: Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++

Last night I asked one of my bosses what they call the white japanese doll they hang on windows when it's raining. After a while, he returned and showed the doll he made out of tissue! I found out it's called rain doll or 'teru teru bozu'. It is usually hung upright in the hopes of making the rain stop but yet when it's turned upside down it becomes a prayer for rain. Neat huh? Magically the rain stopped a few minutes after the doll was hung on our office door. Sugoi~ (cool)

What is it?
Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream offers a novel skincare concept with BB cream, which lightens skin tone by healing visible wrinkles and blemishes with excellent skin-cover ability and prevents skin ageing through effective whitening and anti-wrinkle properties.

A closer look at the box

Yes, it does contain paraben and mineral oil, if you might be wondering...

 They have some other shades, I swatched Shade No. 23 in their kiosk in Landmark but it's a bit darker than me. I was afraid for it to oxidize on me so I chose a lighter shade.

Packaging 
Classy maroon colour for the plastic tube. The pump is working perfectly and dispenses just the right amount of product each time.

Experience
I have high expectations with Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream, it's a popular product. Upon using it I can say the coverage is in between light to medium. I only need 1-2 pumps to cover my face so I think this will last me a long time.

I don't have dark eye circles but it surely brightens up my under-eye area. For dark marks or red pimples, I needed some concealer to cover it up. I think I will need a green concealer to cross out the redness. It also minimizes my pores for a while until by the time that it blends with my skin tone. I like that it also moisturizes my skin and it doubles as a sunblock. 42 PA+++ sun protection is awesome, but maybe it's also the reason why it gives this weird grey cast. I won't try getting near a flash from a camera while I am wearing this.

To tell you honestly, this bb cream feels heavy. I always make sure that there is no bb residue left behind after washing because it can surely lead to a bad breakout. It also can't be used alone because it makes my face sticky like it'll attract all the dust and pollution by the time I go out of the house. I lightly dust powder on top of Missha M Perfect Cover and I am good to go.

• Smells like flowers <3
• Minimizes the appearance of pores
• Brightens under the eye area
• Blends with the skin after a few minutes
• Moisturizing and doesn't accentuate dry patches
• Stays all day
• Makes me look like I'm fresh and blooming (lol)
• Affordable!

What I don't

• Can be layered but might not give enough coverage
• Grey cast on flash camera
• A bit heavy and sticky on humid days
• Contains paraben and mineral oil

TIPS 
Try using a brush to distribute the product evenly on your face
If using cream blush use it after using the bb cream

Will I repurchase? 
Yes! I recommend this to busy girls like me who like multi-purpose products.

Overall~
Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream is a great bb cream for the price. I can't say anything more, the coverage, the scent, the sturdy packaging and the SPF 42 PA+++
