Review: Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Line

It has been a full week of nothing but rain. Giving us more reasons to stay indoors, I bet the malls are not as jam-packed compared to when it was summer. I also want to share that I was able to get hold of a promo Cebu Pacific flight for March and I can't be more excited. Guess where we are heading to? Yay. I'll tell you at the end of this post. So for today, our entry is still related to our search for products for clear skin. Today's review is about Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Line.

Human Nature says:
Be acne-free in three! This three-step regimen is infused with the power of tea tree oil to effectively reduce the appearance of pimples while being gentle on your skin.
Step 1: Cleanse your face with Acne Defense Facial Wash.
Step 2: Apply Acne Defense Face Toner using gentle swipes.
Step 3: Boost your acne-fighting skin care regimen with Acne Defense Solution Gel.

Packaging
Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Line is in the usual plastic packaging with flip top cap for the toner and face wash while a push pump dispenser for the acne gel. They are very hygienic and travel friendly.

I'd really appreciate it if the packaging will be nature friendly as well but I know how convenient plastic bottles are. I am kinda hoping of a policy in the future wherein there is a drop box for plastic discards and it will be collected by the brand where it was from so they can make use of it.

Experience
I remember the very first product I tried from Human Heart Nature was their Sunflower oil. I like it but I stopped buying it because it smelled like adobo after some time of using it. Fast forward today, I truly liked how their Acne Defense Solution Gel worked for me so I've decided to try the whole Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Line.

Facial wash
100ml/ P169.75
Packed with pimple-fighting tea tree oil and skin-soothing aloe vera, this non-abrasive, alcohol-free facial wash combats pimples without harsh chemicals that can irritate skin.

This facial wash smells and feels refreshing. I like the scent somehow minty and herbal like if I am making sense. The main component of this face wash is tea tree. Per instruction it says to shake well first before using a button-sized amount to massage the face while humming a catchy tune. I've noticed that this face wash doesn't lather up but my skin feels so soft and bright after I pat dry with a towel.

Toner
100ml/ P109.75
Break free from breakouts without the harsh chemicals. This tea tree oil powered toner effectively reduces the appearance of pimples and helps reduce skin oiliness. Natural AHAs aid in skin exfoliation, gently promoting skin renewal.

The toner has the same scent with the face wash (well because it is also tea tree! hehe) It goes on clear and clear like usual toners. I find that I need to apply a lot to use this toner. It also somehow felt drying. It doesn't pick up much dirt so I am assuming that the face wash did the job for cleansing.

Acne Gel
20g/P199.75

Get clearer-looking skin without the harmful side effects of chemical treatments. This potent blend of tea tree oil and pimple-fighting actives penetrates the skin to help crack down on breakouts and dry out blemishes.

Well I don't really feel like digging into how much I love this Acne Gel. I basically finished 5 bottles of it already. It comes in grayish gel which dries out my acne without leaving dark marks.

Clause from this line says
Purging may occur when first using this product. You may experience a few more pimples coming out and your skin may seem oilier than usual as dirt bacteria and excess oil surface deep-cleaning.

Purging may last 1-3 weeks as it said but mine lasted more than that. I was using the entire line for a month and my case worsened. I figured out it was the toner's fault because at first 3 days I was only using the face wash and my skin was fine. I had recurring pimples which I can't get rid of.

How much and where to buy?

Whole set is available for P429 in their Human Nature online shop before but they often change promos. You can also buy each item separately.

What I love
Affordable
Tea tree scent
Face wash fully cleanses my skin
Bright skin after washing
Acne Gel works as fast as 2 days
Acne Gel doesn't sting
I can buy each item separately
Cruelty free

What I don't

Toner is drying for me
Toner made me break out

Will I repurchase?
Sadly due to the toner, I will have to pass out in using the entire line but I will keep on loving the Acne Gel.

Overall~
I realized that this line wasn't for me. I got nothing but breakouts due to the toner but I feel like I can still use the face wash and stick with the acne gel.

Despite what happened I still adore the brand because they are not just locally made but they are also NPA certified which means they have 100% no harmful chemicals: No parabens, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, SLS/ SLES, formaldehyde or other toxic chemicals. Human Heart Nature is also cruelty free which means they do not test on animals. Keep in mind that if you want cruelty free products you must avoid brands that sell in China. China still requires all imported cosmetics and special-use cosmetics to be tested on animals.

So that is our review for today, and yes before I forget location reveal for our get-away on March - Palawan! Yes we'll be on an early summer get-away and I am very excited! I think the last time I was there was when I was on college during a tour.

Do comment and share your current skincare regimen. For now I went back to my Safeguard and Acne Gel combo to be on the safe side.

Review: Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

Raise your hands if you love doing makeup! I'll also raise my feet if I can. With all of the new brands and kinds of makeup popping like crazy, who wouldn't love to try and prettify themselves with it? Now I know we all face the hardest part of the day and that is removing all of the makeup! When you're so tired nothing matters anymore, lol. So I am glad I was able to use Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water which was made for the lazy bones like me.

Garnier says:
Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is the 1st Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water, powerful at removing make-up, even waterproof yet surprisingly gentle on skin. For the 1st time Garnier combined its Micellar Technology with nourishing Argan Oil. The micelles capture and lift away residue like a magnet, while the oils dissolves traces of makeup.& nourishes the skin.

Packaging
I like the small clear cute bottle plastic packaging. It's similar to the usual Micellar Cleansing water but the cap is in color flesh.

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused Ingredients
Experience
I have tried 3 different kinds of Micellar cleansing water before, namely: Maybelline, Loreal and the usual Garnier cleansing water. What made this new product stand out is that it says that it's the very first oil-infused  micellar cleansing water. I was so curious how will it fare because oil and water won't mixed and who knows, it might make me oily!

Just the same I bought Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water. I was able to use 3 cotton pads to completely remove my foundation, waterproof eyeliner, eyebrow and lip tint. Unlike the usual micellar water, this new variant is lightly scented which I really don't mind because I am used to the scent of my Argan Oil at home. It was able to remove my waterproof eyeliner without tugging. The formula is non-greasy nor left an oily film even with the inclusion of oil in it. I seriously tried to use it without rinsing once and it was good because I didn't get breakouts from it. It somehow seemed like my skin was moisturized afterwards.

How much and where to buy?
P149 for 125 ml of product and I got mine from Watsons. The usual Garnier Micellar cleansing small bottle costs P125.

What I love

Removes waterproof eyeliner
Gets rid of makeup without tugging the skin
No need to rinse, perfect for lazy nights!
Non-greasy
Moisturizes skin is the extra benefit
Gentle and still feels like water even with the inclusion of Argan Oil
Affordable and accessible product
I got the travel size which is so handy

What I don't

Nothing I can mention

Will I repurchase?
I might! I like this better than the usual micellar cleansing water but I also want to try the Banila Co cleansing balm.

Overall~
I commend Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water for a job well done. I like the idea of a Micellar Argan Oil infused product. It simply works! I've already mentioned all of the reasons why I like it, and there is no reason not to.

What cleansing water or make-up remover are you using at the moment? Let me know what you think about this product, just drop down a comment.

Relumins Advance Nutrition Gluta-1000 First Impressions

Have you ever felt like you need to cleanse not just from the outside but also from the inside? Have you ever felt like your skin doesn't get any better even after putting your trust in a complete skincare line? When I bought this Relumins Advance Nutrition Gluta-1000 I wasn't thinking of the whitening benefits. I know that at this point in my life I need to detoxify. I have looked for a new Glutathione to try and saw Bing's Vlog Review which seems very promising.

It was not long until I've decided on getting 2 bottles to make sure I'll know if it's effective or not.

Glutathione Facts:
Antioxidant
Immune booster
Detoxifier
Anti-aging
Skin whitener

Relumins says:
Proprietory formulation of L-Glutathione complex with Reduced L-Glutathione with Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Rose Hips to improve Glutathione Absorption.

Directions: Take 2 capsules once per day or as directed  by your physician.

For the Ingredient list please zoom into this photo:

Packaging
It comes in a box which is good as it secured the product. The plastic bottle inside is tinted red. The brand label's minimalist design is clean looking and was also applied to their other products as well. I've discovered they have whitening creams and other types of Glutathione capsules besides the Gluta-1000.

This brand is also said to be made in the US. It has a US authenticity sticker on it.

Experience
I have tried a couple of Glutathione brands before and I must admit sometimes it's hard to see the difference if you are not observant with your skin and all. I am fair-skinned to start with but my problem is not with my skin tone but the fact that I get a lot of breakouts.

I've started to take Relumins Advance Nutrition Gluta-1000 more than a week ago and I've gotten a pimple on my forehead, eyebrow, and cheeks. It's not as bad as my first breakout because this time the pimples dried up faster than before.

I was also looking forward to getting rid of the dark spots left by bacne and hopefully get rid of it altogether (I also use a few bath products alongside with the Gluta) I am taking this daily. One capsule 30 minutes after breakfast and another capsule 30 minutes after dinner. I wasn't able to buy a Vitamin C yet and I am not sure if I should take it with Vitamin C because I am quite acidic.

One time I took the capsule wrong and it stuck on my throat. I guess it's a bit big for me, I've learned my lesson to careful in taking the capsule.

How much and where to buy?
P990 at BeautyMNL. I believe you can also find this in Watsons and Shopee but be diligent in buying as there are a lot of fake ones. Make sure to read the feedback first to make sure you're getting the real deal.

So far~
It's too early to comment on the effect of the Relumins Advance Nutrition Gluta-1000 although I've been taking it continuously for more than a week now. My boyfie says I am glowing nowadays which might be a hint that the Glutathione is working somehow but I can't give all the credit to Relumins just yet. I will be making 30 days and 60 days video for this product so stay tuned!

Do follow me in Youtube channel as I'll be posting an unboxing too and the next updates. We also have a Facebook page for any questions etc. Or you can comment down below, let me know if you're also currently taking Glutathione capsules for detoxification!

Life Update: BER Month and Shopping haul

BER months just started with a BANG! It's suddenly cold and breezy right now and it adds up to the early Christmas feeling. I just want to give an update, do subscribe to my Youtube channel right now if you haven't yet.

I have just gotten a LED ring light that I can use for my next Youtube videos and it was the best decision I've made so far. Life has been good lately and I couldn't be any more grateful. I just had a quick haul, check out below photos.

Been able to watch John Wick 3 and The Innocent Witness and both are good movies. For small screen drama I am not watching Hotel Del Luna which is ending soon, too bad! It is a great korean drama with a very unique interesting plot about death and ghosts. Do watch it, it's highly recommended.

MY SHOPPING HAUL!
I got this new products from my online shopping, Watsons and the supermarket. I might still need to practice more in photography though as these photos below doesn't give justice to the led ring light haha. But forgive me now, just scroll through them.

Review: Cream Silk Hydra Fresh Light Conditioner in Fresh and Bouncy

Hello September! Now that it's cold and breezy my hair doesn't get too greasy anymore as compared in the summer. It's not a big secret that I am a big fan of Cream Silk, during Lazada's sale I got myself 5 big bottles of Cream Silk Triple Keratin Rescue! How crazy is that? Next time I'll get a one year supply if I have the funds LOL. Anyway so I ran out of my favorite conditioner and just in time, I saw a new commercial which was the Cream Silk Hydra Fresh Light Conditioner in Fresh and Bouncy which is for limp and flat hair. At first, I wasn't even aware of the variant, all I know is this new variant is baby pink!

What is it?
Cream Silk Hydra Fresh Light Conditioner in Fresh and Bouncy for limp and flat hair.
Cream Silk's lightest and freshest conditioning system yet. Infused with the power and Hydracollagen Technology, It gets instantly absorbed to feel hydrated and quench dryness.

3 Main Points:
Water-based
Non-greasy
Easy-Rinse

Directions:
After shampoo massage through hair from mid to tip. Rinse well after 1 minute. For best results use every day.

Packaging
I will be honest in saying that the reason why I purchase this was because of the packaging's color. Call me shallow on this matter but pink plays a big part in my decisions haha.

The flip cap opening is typical for the Cream Silk conditioners. Too bad because I got a defective one which won't close and the product was a mess when I got it from the plastic bag.

Experience
So like I've mentioned I didn't even know I was buying a variant for limp and flat hair, my hair is neither very oily though so I think I am somewhere in between those lines. My hair as you all know is chemically treated and usually dry. For this line, Cream Silk has this in Fresh and Hydrated variant for Oily and Greasy hair. This one, on the other hand, is a baby blue bottle.

The first impression is that it smells very feminine although I like my Triple Keratin Rescue scent more. That can just be me though, this one also smells nice but to each is own. The conditioner itself is white and more on the watery side. If this is some other brand I will think that it won't moisturize my hair at all because it seemed so light. The formula is water-based true to their claims and it's very easy to spread on my hair strands. Rinsing the conditioner is also quick and easy due to the easy rinse formula and I've only left it for a minute. Good on the days where you are in a hurry and it won't leave a residue as it's non-greasy. On weekends I like to let it stay longer  on my hair.

True enough, my hair is bouncy after it air-dried. My hair has the natural volume so I can't say it's volumized but it's light and fragrant. I want to believe the intense hydration because my hair doesn't feel dry to touch now.

How much and where to buy?

P228.75 for 300ml in Puregold Supermarket. You can also snag a bottle in Watsons or leading supermarkets nationwide.

What I love
Water-based which makes it a conditioner that will weigh the hair down
My hair is bouncy but still light
Hair is soft to touch and not dry
Non-greasy formula
Easy rinse which means it'll save me water
Perfect conditioner to use when in a hurry
Affordable!
Product is available almost anywhere

What I don't
Nothing I can mention

Will I repurchase?
I might try the blue one next time!

Overall~
Although I really really love the Cream Silk Triple Keratin Rescue, I must say that their new line Cream Silk Hydra Fresh Light Conditioner in Fresh and Bouncy is also true to their claims. I was able to hydrate my hair in as fast as 1 minute and I couldn't be any happier. Price is also a big thumbs up of course. Overall, I recommend you guys to try this conditioner.
