...and that means 'welcome everyone!' I have been trying to learn japanese lately and it's really fun! It would be awesome to learn a new language, who's with me? :D I love watching japanese anime, concerts, drama series and it would be so much easier if I understand them without the subtitles.

Besides learning a new language I also want to learn how to play the piano, how to skate and how to ride a bike. I believe that as we grow old we should not stop learning new things. With these goals in mind we need to step forward, meet people and be an achiever. But are we really confident to face the world?

When you think and feel bad, negative vibes will follow. Even a simple glimpse of the blue sky or my little cute cat can easily make me smile, I'm fond of shallow happiness. <3

Surround yourself with positive people

'Birds of the same feather flock together'. If you want to be positive, what else can be easier than surrounding yourself with positive people. A day filled with positive conversations will always be an awesome day to look forward to. People who are ready to support you in your endeavors no matter what happen is considered gold.

Experience is your best teacher

Treat each day as an adventure, let's face the reality: we cannot please everybody. For every mistake you make, just accept it and learn from them. If given a second chance, just try again. Do not let your mistakes define you. Sometime in the future you will look back and realize how things shaped the new and stunning you.

So this is supposed to be a chiffon roll cake. Err....

Stay pretty!

Don't be scared to beautify yourself, use some makeup but do not forget to also take care of your skin. Slather on some lotion to avoid getting dry skin. I regularly use whitening soaps and flaky dry skin is typical for me. I use SkinWhite Power Whitening Lotion and I like it for its light and non-sticky formula. I am in love with its sweet scent, it's not overpowering yet it's feminine. This lotion is my very first beauty purchase when I was still in high school (just when I've just started to be kikay!) It was love at first swatch! I tried it on and I really love how dreamy it glided on skin. And it is boyfie approved! More plus points for that. He said it really looks good on me. That was like the first time he complimented my makeup. Looool~ Indeed it made my face look luminous, wow~

Nowadays I am more into convenient but light and long lasting makeup. Will this Maybelline foundation make the cut?

I am looking forward into getting a bottle and reviewing it fully in my blog. 

2. THE BODY SHOP Lip & Cheek Stain

This dual-purpose liquid stain gives lips and cheeks a hint of natural-looking colour. Can be used under gloss for added intensity.

I have been lemming for this like forever! It has been on sale for a few times already and I still haven't got a tube. How sad life can be? I tried this one before, (thank you so much friend!) and I can say that Tony Moly Cherry Apple tint is one good dupe.

However years later, I still want THE BODY SHOP tint, hopefully I'll have the guts to buy a bit-steep-for-me tint for myself this Christmas (or on my birthday!)

3. DIOR ADDICT LIP GLOW

The first universal balm by Dior reacts to the unique chemistry of each woman's lips to give them a natural flush of custom pink that suits her skin tone. As if revived from within, lips are fresh, full and radiant.

I am curious into how this one works. I saw my workmate used this and it turned somehow coral on her. Fascinating really, but the price is really high for a balm. Huehue~ This one might be on my wishlist forever.

4. KATE Goldish Eyes

As expected I can't easily find a photo for this eyeshadow. I remember seeing this sparkly eyeshadow from the japanese girl who assisted us in the airport. I am hands down mesmerized because it really looks stunning. I don't like sparkles on my face but on my eyes, its just yes yes and yes~

Justme: Oatmeal Banana Choco Chip Cookies

Seriously I have been dreaming of baking since I was a kid and this is just a dream come true for me. However there is no shortcuts in life and I am still struggling in the do's and don'ts of baking. There is so much to learn and I am happy because we should really not stop learning no matter what age we are in.

So I just wanna share my successful yummy baked treat, original recipe here: The Best Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. She has a bunch of oatmeal cookie recipes but this one is my favorite. Alas I made something good and edible, mom is asking for more. I baked them early morning and when I came home its all gone.

I am hands down in favor of the combination of bananas, chocolates and oatmeal. Its a match made in heaven. I really love how soft it is inside yet crunchy outside. Its a cookie and cake in one! Now lezz start!

STEP 1
It would be easier if you prepare and measure all of the ingredients beforehand.
First I started off with the bananas.

 For my version I mash them up before adding the other ingredients. Its okay to leave whole banana chunks, yes?

STEP 2

Add the egg, sugars, butter and vanilla. In that order. Mix until fluffy, take note that the mixture will be runny unlike the usual flour cookie dough.

STEP 3

In a separate bowl mix the oats, flour, baking soda and salt until combined.

STEP 4

Carefully mix the dry and wet ingredients together in two or three additions.

STEP 5

Add the chocolates. I use chopped baking chocolates as I find chips too conventional for home made cookies.

STEP 6

I played with the cookie dough and used different add-ins, not just chocolates. I chilled it overnight to lessen the stickiness of the dough. I preheated the oven at 176 C and used oil on my baking sheet (foil with the unshiny side on top). Rolled 1 tablespoon dough mounds. This cookies do not spread much and I bake them for 15 minutes well-done cookies. 

Cookies do firm up as they cool but I let it a bit longer than 15 minutes because mama wants crunchy cookies.. Baking times could vary but I always bake them until they are done. I let them cool on the baking sheet.

STEP 7

Tadaaa~

And here is my creation, say hello to my oatmeal banana cookies!

Clockwise: Peanut butter & white choco chips, truly chocolate, chunky bananas and choco chip

I'm using baking as my stress reliever and it's working!

Oatmeal Banana Cookies is said to last up to 7 days in an air tight jar or 6 months if frozen. However I never tried keeping them that long because its always gone shortly every after baking!

I brought them to work and even my office mates love it. Hopefully I can make it crunchier because it gets soft easily once out of the jar.

And here is the event wiieeee~

Lookie it was my first time to do brush lettering. It was fun! We were asked to write phrases or just the word that contain glow or shine. This is what I made, hello to my golden artwork.

We get a completion card for this fun fair. The logo gets stamped every time we complete an activity.

There was skin and nutrition consultation, product sampling and photoshoot. I did not get to take much pictures as I was just doing some ninja moves. I was too shy because I was alone, I noticed everyone got some company. I left early but I still enjoyed. This is my first event and it was a good one!

Beauty Haul: Impulse Buy

Hello Tuesday, so I had a shopping spree last night and I got a bunch of stuffs. Guess what, they are all skin care products!

I also want to buy new outfits for my wardrobe (because I still don't have uniform!) but then I have decided that ordering online might be a better idea because they sell wider range of clothing that fits my style. I checked ZALORA and discovered this brand Tomato that has some pretty cool stuff. Check it our here.

Anyway here is the bunch of stuffs I got from my impulse buying. Here is Dove's Oxygen & Nourishment Conditioner, I wanted get the Pantene 3 minute miracle but I am also eager to try something new. Beautyfix seems interesting as its a new brand to me, I got two variants, one for me (whitening and pore minimizer) and another one (oil control & detoxify) for my sister.

I also replenished our stock of good old beauty products - Maxipeel and Kojie-san Dream White Anti-aging Soap.

And more of a lot of weird stuff! Lol. I will be trying out I White Facial Cream again because I read so many good comments on it. I remember losing my own tube during my first or second year of college. I also got I White Aqua Moisturizing Cream because I need a travel friendly moisturizer. 

Then you might ask, what are those? Its Chinese products. Yes yes I know its crazy. Its Chin Chun Su and San-Ing Cream for dark spots. They sell this at Mercury Drug by the way, so I assume they are safe. I will update you guys!

It has been a long time since I posted, its the start of Ber months once again! Anyone who is excited like me? From now on expect more updates from my Facebook page, please likeuuu~

Review: Pinkies Collections Lipstick in LP-03

Its not a secret that I love pink. So here I go getting a really nice pink lippie again after finishing up my tube of Sophie Martin Summer Pink.

What is it? 
A nude pink lipstick which brightens up look. I like how natural looking it is when swiped.

Packaging 
This lipstick has a black plastic tube shaped like a big bullet with their fancy name printed in pink! I am glad to say that the name didn't fade even after months of being with me. I can call that success. *wink wink*

Experience
What I really like about Pinkies Collections lipstick is that its pigmented and its really easy to apply. Its creamy and it glides smoothly on moisturized lips. But hey sometimes I also use this without balm underneath and it works as fine. Thanks for its moisturizing properties, it has semi-matte finish without feeling heavy. I'm impressed.

Bad news is that its not transfer proof. But its okay because this lippie has no scent or whatsoever and I don't mind reapplication.
I remember lugging this during one hot day and guess what it did not melt. Just make sure it is not directly expose to sunlight, do not purposely melt if girls. Haha. XD

How much and where to buy? 
I got this from Watsons and its affordable compared to other brands. Only P149.95 per tube!

What I love 

• Smooth easy application
• Brightens up look
• Creamy and moisturizing

• Can be removed easily
• Did not melt during the hot summer season unlike my F21 lippie!

What I don't 

• Does not stay long; around 2-3 hours without eating or drinking

TIPS
Try out using liptint on the middle of your lips for an added 'doll' effect.
I use this for a natural makeup look. Never look too made up ever again.

Will I repurchase?
Maybe yes if I find this beauty brand again! I don't see Pinkies collection as much and I don't know if they are still selling this? :(

Overall~
I love Pinkies Collections Lipstick and I hope to get another tube to replenish my happy pink makeup kit. <3
