Part 1: Dojaejung Weekend: Getting Presscon Passes

My Dojaejung weekend started early on Thursday right after my graveyard shift. I quickly went out with my sister Brendie to catch the bus going to Ayala. It was mentioned that only the first 1000 fans who will line up can get a Presscon pass. 

Of course, we were ready. We downloaded and verified our Zing app 2 days before getting the passes. Funny enough, I could bring a banana, bread and water on our way out.

Lining up

We were able to get to Ayala after 2 hours. We were running and walking simultaneously as we approached the last person in the line. Huffing and puffing because we are not as young as before to be doing this.

An Ayala staff quickly approached us, and she gave us a stamp, stickers and queue number. I am impressed with how attentive and hands-on Ayala was with the queue. 2 guys kept on doing rounds to make restamp as the ink quickly fades. They are also quick to give everyone who queues a number.

We stood in the line for a few hours. Talking and testing my phone for possible zoom shots like what will happen in the concert. It was hot and there is a lot of people who are in the line like us.

Red or Blue?

When we finally got inside I felt a sigh of relief. It is also cold because of the air conditioner. We were asked to choose a side. There are 2 colours to choose from - red and blue. It actually stands for the right and left side of the stage. The middle side is for the media. But for us fans, it is more like are you on Doyoung's or Jungwoo's side? Because we already knew how they'll get seated once they get on stage.

I finally decided on blue because of my sister. She is Jungwoo-biased. I made 2 new friends and here is my pass number 299.

Time for food!

I remembered I still need to eat a decent breakfast. So we went to Burger King for a quick brunch. 

It was so hot so we dropped by Pickup Coffee before going home. We're tired, sleepy but still oh-so excited to see Dojaejung soon! Catch part 2 of our Dojaejung Weekend Adventure in my next post!
