Review: Skin Potions Set of Tomato Serum, Acne Pie Soap and Snowberry Cream

I found this sampler set from Shopee. You know I have tried a lot of products and not every product will work good so to avoid wasting money I opted to buy a sampler kit. I can attest that she is legit because she also sells authentic full-sized products. I really like the whole concept of this all-natural and cute beauty brand. Look at how adorable they did their website too.

About the brand:
Skin Potions offers organic and natural based products which was often available in bazaars and collaboration stores. Right now they also have kiosks at SM Supermalls too. Skin Potions offers a selection of innovative, high quality skincare and cosmetic products at affordable prices in whimsical packaging that’s guaranteed to work their magic for your skin!

Packaging
I can't say much about the packaging coz this was a repackaged product but the original packaging of Skin Potions is very cute! They have cartoon-style labels I really adore.

Skin Potions Set of Tomato Serum, Acne Pie Soap and Snowberry Cream

P250/140g
Shoo away those eeky acne with this sweet treat! It mildly whisks away dead skin cells, irritation and redness, heals and dries up your acne, bacne and pimples in no time. Leaving a soft and moist glow behind. 😍
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Lye, Vegetable Glycerin, Water, Salicylic Acid, Butyrospermum parkii, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Papaya Extract, Aloe Vera Oil Extract, Oat Kernels, Shea Butter, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum, FD&C Brown

Review: The soap has this round circles design on it, it reminds me of a honey comb and a bubble wrap. I am not sure why but this photo on their website doesn't show the design, but I swear they have it! The soap doesn't melt easily and it's foamy. It doesn't make my skin dry and it cleanses well too. The scent is not over-powering.

P295/ 30 g
For a radiant, glowing look; helps restore skin’s natural pH balance; minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores; reduces irritations and inflammations such as acne; relieves and heals sunburnt skin; fights free radicals with an antioxidant powerhouse that includes vitamins A and C, lycopene, and proteins. Recommended for combination to oily skin.
Ingredients Aqua, Carbopol, Propylene Glycol, Tomato Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, Collagen, Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, Whitenol, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Fragranc

Review: I am aloof to try tomato-based products because I find that I am a bit allergic to it but I took the plunge. I like the sweet scent of this serum but it doesn't smell like a tomato. Is there even a tomato scent?

Price: P465/ 50g
This all-in-one cream fights and heal acne, lightens dark spots, hyperpigmentation, insect bites and even stretch marks! It can also be used as a make up primer, pore filler and pore minimizer while it gives the skin a nice matte finish. This cream is definitely what dreams are made of!
Ingredients: Papaya Extract, Bearberry Extract, Licorice Extract, Snail Filtrate, Whitenol Extract, Acerola Cherry Extract, Ruce Bran Oil, Titanium Dioxide and Essential Oils

Review: This cream smells so sweet like strawberry and I love it. The cream is very thick so you need to blend it well for it to be absorbed. It minimizes my pores and brightens up my skin tone. It does make my skin oil up a bit after a while though but it's fine.

How to use:
1. Create lather of Acne Pie soap onto hands by adding water. Spread the lather gently unto the skin. Rinse and pat dry.
2. Apply a thin layer of Tomato serum, massage onto face gently and leave it for two minutes before applying Strawberry cream.

What I love
I was able to try the products before buying the full-sized!

What I don't

Tomato serum broke me out somehow

Will I repurchase?
I want to buy a full-sized Snowberry Cream!

Overall~
I've used this set for a month but I still get breakouts. I first tried using the soap first and it was okay but I got breakouts when I added the Tomato serum. I had no problems with the Strawberry cream though, it's a really good moisturizer. Skin Potions Set of Tomato Serum, Acne Pie Soap and Snowberry Cream is a good skincare set as it's all natural but effect varies from one person to another. You can still try this set and see for yourself it it's a good fit. Let me know in the comments how it went for you!
