Review: Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica

I can't believe it's already June?! Jumping in here real quick to review Skin 1004 Tea-Trica Line which I have been using for a while now.

What is it?
The Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Line is specifically designed to treat acne-prone skin. The combination of tea tree extract, cica(centella) and Pine tree complex, is excellent for soothing acne-prone and sensitive skin.

Packaging
I like the fact that every product comes in a thick sturdy box. It kept it safe during the transit especially the ampoule because the bottle is made of glass.

Experience
I am using the complete line of Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica for about 2 months so I can confidently say my honest opinion about it.

I was originally using The Body Shop's Tea Tree line for more than a year and it was working great but I can't keep my eyes off Skin 1004 Tea Trica line. I've tried the Hyalucica toner before and I like it but I need something I can use to counter breakouts.

The Tea-Trica BHL's foam wash is in mint green color and I dig it. It doesn't foam up well though, but I knew that foaming doesn't necessarily mean more clean. It doesn't dry up my face though or make it feel tight so that is a thumbs up.

After washing my face I use the Tea-Trica Toner which feels like water. I usually use it with a cotton ball. But you can also use a cotton pad or you can also apply it by hand.

Lastly, I use the Tea-Trica Ampoule to hydrate my skin. It is a very light type of hydration and it doesn't make my face look shiny. It just felt moisturized from within and it's easily absorbed by my skin.

How much and where to buy it?
Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica BHL Foam 125ml - P529
Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Purifying Toner 210ml - P699
Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Relief Ampoule 100ml - P759

What I love
  • Premium skincare feels starting from the packaging to the actual products.
  • Highly gentle formula
  • I love that this line is specifically made for acne-prone skin
  • Love the Centella and Tea Tea combo, it's a match made in heaven!💖

What I don't
  • There is none!
Will I repurchase?
I might once I finish this set!

Overall~
After using it for 2 months now I must say my face looks brighter and I get fewer breakouts. I tend to get acne when it is my red days but ever since I have used Skin 1004 Tea-Trica products I will only get 1-2 pimples and that is it.

I feel like I've found my holy grail ya'll. By the way, I still use the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil for occasional zits.

Check-in Entry: I am Alive!!

With all of the work I am doing I can't believe I am still alive and kicking. I just want to do a quick check-in blog entry here.

What is new?
  • I am moving soon! That is the biggest news. The house my family renting was sold to a new owner so we need to move.
  •  I just renewed my domain name and that means I still have a year of blogging!
  • I am not into makeups anymore, but I focus on skincare and proper taking care of my health.
  • I am already mourning my youth as I move to a new age bracket (if you know what I mean!?)
  • I signed up for Tiktok but as expected, I cannot keep up with the demand of posting daily in order to be a content creator. I guess it is not for me?
What is next?
  • More blog entries?!
  • My dentist has removed my braces and I can test more teeth whitening products soon.
  • I have a few beauty devices I will be sharing soon
  • I broke my oven but I got a new immsersive hand blender which allows me to make really healthy fruit shakes
Update in photo:

This is me when I tried skating (not my first time but I am a forever noob when it comes to balancing myself)

The only platform I am in right now is Instagram so do follow me there!

Review: Pax Moly Acne Spot Eliminator

If you're like me, you've probably tried every acne spot treatment out there. You know, the ones that are supposed to dry out your blemishes and make them disappear. Hoping that it won't leave any pesky marks on your skin. But sometimes they just make your skin worst, making it feel drier and more irritated. And, sometimes, they even seem to cause the breakouts. So what's a girl to do? This is when I remembered about a good ole product I've used before, enter Pax Moly Acne Spot Eliminator~

What is it?

A powerful treatment to remove existing acne and help preventing future breakouts.
How to use: Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying. Apply a thin layer on affected areas.

[30ml]

Packaging
It comes in a shiny black box with english translations and clear expiration date. I might have gotten a product from the old batch because mine's expiry is March of this year. I don't mind but I do hope to get a product from the fresh batch next time. Below is the Pax Moly Acne Spot Cream ingredient list:

Experience
Pax Moly Acne Spot Eliminator says it'll help to fight fade and prevent future blemishes for spotless looking skin. The cream itself smells medicinal somehow. It is a watery type of cream which makes it quickly absorbed by the skin.

I use the Pax Moly Acne Spot Cream after I wash, tone and moisturize. I only need a pea size amount and it'll be enough for the whole face. I use this both before and after my breakout. I find that this works best as an after breakout cream rather than before. It diminishes dark spots after a few days.

What I like best about is it doesn't sting, it doesn't contain nor smell like it has harsh chemicals in it.

How much and where to buy?
I got this cream for P320 in Shopee.

What I love
  • Call me weird but I like the scent.
  • It's quickly absorbed.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Affordable
  • Cream gives no stingy feeling when applied
  • It does get rid of my dark spots

What I don't
  • Only available online
  • I got a product near expiry :(
Will I repurchase?
YES! This is my 3rd one!

Overall~
I am quite satisfied with how the cream eliminated my dark spots as it promised. It is even moisturizing so that's a plus! If you're looking for a spot treatment that actually works, check out Pax Moly Acne Spot Eliminator. You won't be disappointed.

New Year, New Eyes with Executive Optical

Executive Optical Love your Eyes

Executive Optical Prescription Glasses

Executive Optical Glasses

So for the first day of the year I have decided to get a new prescription glasses. There are a lot of options and I've visited all of them - George Optical, Owndays, Vision Express but alas I have ended up on Executive Optical.

The Why:
The staff in Executive Optical is highly welcoming and so does their shop. It's bright and there are frames available to be tried on. I also like how there are available seats around so you can be seated while waiting for your turn.

Tips
When buying glasses it is recommended that you have 8 hours of sleep (and I do!) I'm glad I slept early on New Year.

Experience
The free check-up is really good! The check is very thorough. They don't just check using their special devices, they also do it again using the manual method of trying out different kinds of the actual lenses. The optometrist is highly friendly as well and I got to ask a lot of questions about taking care of the eyes and such.

She said our eye grade can possibly be maintained when you reach 30 or 40. Then there are 2 ways to improve the eyesight. 1 is through lasik which not everyone is a candidate of then 2 is by using an overnight lens which you can wear while sleeping. The special lenses she mentioned is available in vision centers and might definitely be priced high but I want to actually look for it.

My eye grade was 2.75 years ago and I wasn't able to have it checked for 2 years due to pandemic. It quickly jumped to 4.00 but I was allowed back then to just do 3.75. Now when I got checked, my new grade is 5.00! My optometrist said I can get a 4.75 grade contact lenses (a less .25 grade than my actual) because she said the lenses adhered to my eyes and there will be no distance to it unlike with glasses.

What did I get?
I've purchased an EO Eyewear frame (P2,599) with a multicoated/blue light lenses (+P900).

What I love
For the longest time, I didn't know they give out this cool boxes when purchasing EO Eyewear brand frames. I guess I have never bought the EO Eyewear frame in all of my years of getting frames here, lol. But it is cool. They even give out a free book.

Overall~
This is your sign to get your new prescription glasses!

Happy New Year, Welcome 2023!

What are your Resolution for this New Year? Any plans or things you want to thank for in 2022?

Looking Back
The start of each year has always been a hopeful one. However a few months into the year my job contract ended due to the company's financial issues.

I got a new contract after a month but seriously, having no job for a month gave me anxiety.

Fast forward:
I enjoyed my time in my new job and I was also able to land on a side gig of creating reels for an Interior design company.

Welcome 2023!
I have setting unimaginable goals for my family this 2023. I really hope I can do it and I hope to become really productive.

A few things I wanna do:
  • Create more blog entries by reviewing more products I got in 2022.
  • Meet my friends I have not seen ever since pandemic started
  • Get my Youtube channel rolling
  • Be more visible in social media - Start a new account for my freelance whatnots
  • Learn new skills that I can offer as a service
  • Finish the current books I have and buy more

Overall~
I am pretty much again, hopeful of what lies ahead. Thank you for visiting my blog and if you're new here I hope you can go bookmark this page so I can see you again!
